If you'd like to provide a link to your personal reflection page, blog, wiki, podcast, etc... feel free... :)
Devon -
podcasting. I really don't have anytime at all to do new "Stuff" but I am. I bought my new Mac Book Pro in July, and even though I've had my own
website for sometime, I see how easy it is to make Web 2.0 sites in iWeb. (I am a Dreamweaver fan and run CS3.) Anyway, so I am going to
podcast, and I think I want to set up a new website for my AP/101-102 classes that will include a blog & podcasts.
Right now this is being housed @
dcamd.com/podcasts (I will convert to mp3 files).
Shelley - podcasting. I've been wanting/needing to play with it. So I'm using these reflection requirement as the excuse to try to podcast relatively regularly so that I get a feel for what/how/why podcasting. I'm starting by using Gabcast because it will be easy to just talk into the phone. I'm sure I'll play with other production technologies and I know I want to play with the iTunes U distribution technology @ MCC. BTW - I can subscribe to your Podcast via Google Reader! (biray)
Biray - Wikis. I know I need some more experience using wikis. My interest is primarily in experimenting in collaborative projects. This summer I dabbled in google docs while working on joint assignments and I didn't really feel it suited my needs (especially when multiple collaborators were involved). So, I've decided to try something that initially seems a bit more linear and organized.
Sharon - Blogs. I've never had a blog before so I set this one up to play around with as part of this group. As I say in my blog post I'm also interested in using discussion boards/forums as a means of driving student reflection and conversation outside of the classroom.
Ann - Blogs. I still feel like such a tech "novice" that I want to begin easy and work my way up! A blog is something I feel I can learn to use and teach to my class fairly quickly and easily to just get started.
Greg - Wikis. I have invested some time during our Fall 2007 experimenting with wikis. Part of this experimentation has been as a component in my participation in the Graduate Certificate Program in E Learning and Online Teaching.
